Streivor Inc. has been supplying stainless steel products to the foodservice industry since 1989. Starting originally with sinks, dish tables, work tables and custom fabrication. Streivor quickly began to grow their installation services to support their products and after multiple customer inquiries to build commercial hood systems, the process began. In 1995 Streivor Air Systems™ was born.

Streivor is also advancing forward with the addition of Self-Cleaning Hood Technology. Their Self-Cleaning Rotating Water Wash (RWW) hood uses an innovative patent pending design to clean the hood’s exhaust plenum and grease extractors. The Self-Cleaning Ultraviolet (UV) Light Technology hood significantly reduces buildup of grease deposits in both the hood exhaust plenum and grease exhaust duct. Individually or in combination these Self-Cleaning Hoods offer a powerful solution in reducing cleaning and maintenance cost as well as decreasing the likelihood of grease fires in the exhaust duct.

Streivor Air Systems hoods with SmartAire™ Technology are some of the most energy efficient wall canopy hoods ever invented.

SmartAire is achieved by using Streivor’s Technology, which includes adjustable high-velocity, low-volume streams of air into Streivor’s canopy hood design.

SmartAire allows a Streivor hood of any length to be segmented into individual unique hood segments as small as 24 linear inches.

SmartAire allows the airflow in each hood segment to be individually adjusted. The exhaust and supply airflow can be increased or decreased, to achieve the most optimum airflow rate for the capture and containment of effluents exhausting from specific cooking appliances installed directly under each individual hood segment.

Streivor’s Containment Panels can be added to any Streivor hood with SmartAire Technology and can achieve up to an additional 33% reduction in exhaust flow rates.

The Ultimate in Condensate and Vapor Hoods

Cooking Type II Commercial Kitchen Ventilation hoods are used in a commercial kitchen to capture, contain, and exhaust heat and/or steam and odors produced by kitchen appliances that do not produce grease. Streivor’s Type II hoods have been tested over specific types of cooking appliances and at maximum appliance temperatures to and meet NSF guidelines and prevailing codes. Our Condensate and Vapor Hoods are made with 18 Gauge Stainless Steel and are built for durability.

The CT2 Low CFM Vapor Hood has been specifically designed to exhaust contaminated air produced from low temperature cooking appliances that do not cook with an open flame or produce grease laden vapors.

The CT2 Vapor Hood with Optional Condensate Baffle is designed to catch the dripping condensation from the duct to prevent it from falling onto the appliances below.
